#NoToCyberCrimeLaw

Filipino netizens including me are turning our Facebook profile and our twitter photos into black as a sign of protest against the controversial Cybercrime bill as well as of a personal protest we also carry Facebook status messages that shows a "black bar" that is followed by "[STATUS BLOCKED] (RA NO 10175)."  Well as a blogger, I believe that this law will affect our activities over the internet like putting up limitations for what we are posting . I mean we netizens must be responsible enough with our doings over the net. I know that this law is made to solve or minimize cyber crimes that is now happening especially in our country Philippines.  This law are build because of the irresponsible person who do illegal activities using the internet, in other words MISUSED OF INTERNET.

Internet since it was develop has a great help for us  human. It serves a bridge for all the transaction either local or international. Also by this, people are connected with the help of the social networking sites especially facebook and twitter etc. By the help of this sites, we can express our feelings, or reactions to certain situations, or we do criticism a so called "freedom of speech. " The rapid cyber crimes that happened in our country brought the government of the Philippine to conduct Cyber Crime law . It is called the  Republic Act No. 10175  AN ACT DEFINING CYBERCRIME, PROVIDING FOR THE PREVENTION, INVESTIGATION, SUPPRESSION AND THE IMPOSITION OF PENALTIES THEREFOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSE.

Like others I'm not also in favor of this law for some reasons like the law will throw anyone in jail for 12 years if they're found posting defamatory comments on social networks, which is a tougher penalty versus an existing libel law that applies to "traditional media."  and soooooo on.................................................sh*t.
